Project Victory is a rehabilitation and community reintegration program created to help military service members who have sustained a mild to severe traumatic brain injury. In October 2007, five soldiers from Fort Polk Louisiana entered Project Victory and set into motion a program that has gained the trust and respect of the injured soldiers and veterans, their families and commanding officers.
The success of Project Victory can be attributed to the dedication and professionalism of the staff and their ability to identify the needs of each soldier and veteran and together chart a holistic course for recovery.
A graduation ceremony marks the end of treatment but the beginning of changes to come. Following a recent graduation ceremony, Shawn Brossart, Director of Project Victory, received the following message: “I attended the Project Victory graduation on Friday. It was obvious from their “speeches” and talking to them that both MSG X and MSG X got a lot from the program. I’d like to thank you for your advocacy of the program that has helped these two soldiers. Everyone I’ve talked to about the program is impressed with it.”
