The Art of Cultivating Self-Care and Well-Being: a Retreat for Service Providers by Coming Home Project

Who cares for the care provider?

Rabbi Hillel wrote:

“If I am not for me, who will be?
If I am only for myself, what am I?
If not now, when?”

We may know about secondary trauma, but it takes resolve to stop, look and listen, and then to respond proactively to signs of compassion fatigue. During this three day retreat we will: explore methods to intervene early and avert burnout, identify common, but hidden, beliefs and conflicts, grow our capacity for well being, and make our compelling work emotionally sustainable and gratifying over the long haul.

Please join us for a weekend of rejuvenation in a place of quiet beauty December 12th through the 14th, 2008.
