IAVA’s Storm the Hill event began today and will run through the week. As part of this event, IAVA has sent two dozen veterans to Washington DC to speak directly to congress. This year IAVA’s top legislative priority is reforming what it calls the outdated VA disability claims process.

Supporters can find out more about the event at www.stormthehill.org. Additionally, the site allows individuals to follow along in real-time using Twitter, video, photos, and text from the six teams representing veterans. Visitors to the site can also show their support by entering location information that is compiled and displayed on a map on the front page of the site.
